List of Nigerian universities that have annonced resumtion date

After about one year of being at home first due to the coronavirus pandemic, then as a result of the prolonged strike enacted by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nigerian university students will be returning to classrooms by January 2021.

Here is a list of universities that have announced their resumption date in 2021

1. BASUG Resumption Date

The management of the University has approved that the first semester, 2019/2020 Academic Session lectures will continue on Monday 25^th January 2021.

2. Caritas University Resumption Date

Therefore, all academic and administrative staff will resume duties on Monday, 18 January 2021. Also, first-year and second-year students and JUPEB students will come into Residence on Monday 18th January 2021, while the rest of the students will return on Wednesday, 20th of January.

3. Benson Idahosa University Resumption Date

The new and tentative resumption guidelines are:

1. January 11th, 2021 – Resumption of all staff
2. January 18th, 2021 – Resumption of all students

4. Trinity University (TU) Resumption Date

Trinity University wishes to advise all parents and students to put on hold, all travel arrangements for the resumption of academic activities on campus until 18th January 2021

5. UNIBEN Resumption Dates

it was resolved that old Students of the Institution should come into residence on the 30th of January for the continuation of First Semester lectures on Monday the 1st of February, 2021.

6. OAU Announces Resumption Date

The resumption date for the commencement of 2020/2021 session has been fixed for January 21, 2020.

7. UNIZIK Resumption Date

The university will resume on January 4, 2021.

8. EBSU Resumption Date

the resumption of full academic activities in Ebonyi State University from Monday 4th January 2021

9. BUK Announces Resumption Date

The Bayero University Kano hereby announces Monday 18th January 2021 as the resumption date for continuing the first-semester academic activities for 2019/2020 academic activities.

10. AAU Ekpoma Resumption Date

1. Tuesday, 29 December, 2020 – Continuation of course registration for old students & Interaction between staff and students online begins

2. Monday. 18 January, 2021 – Course registration for old students ends

11. UNIPORT Releases Resumption Date

The affected staff in (1) above, are expected to resume duty on Thursday, 28th January, 2021
